All
I really need to know about Successful Inclusion I
can Learn at Girl Guides
I
promise to share and be a friend
Friends
come in many shapes and sizes and all have gifts and needs.
We
are all more the same than different.
Sparks
are introduced to this concept before they even know what the word
inclusion means. At age five or six, differences in abilities
are areas of curiosity to little minds that are discovering the
world around them.
When
leaders facilitate inclusion of all of our members, we teach that
everyone deserves to be included because we all have our own gifts,
talents and needs to share.
Did
you know that Calgary Area has a Special Needs Adviser? I
am here to offer support and resources to help you facilitate successful
inclusion in your Unit. If I can be of assistance, please
call Calgary Area office at 283-8348 and leave a message for me.
