ABCRC is responsible for beverage container recycling in Alberta and
works closely with the Bottle Depots to ensure that the containers
(refundable) are collected and recycled into new products. A
15-minute video shows the system from purchasing a container to recycling
and what the end results are. Everything brought to a bottle depot
is reused.
Units are not required to go to the ABCRC facilities- programs can be
run from the Unit's meeting hall.
Programs are suitable for the following age groups:
Sparks,
Brownies, Guides,
Pathfinders, Senior Branches
